One for Colin…

Nish scores in 2-1 defeat to CelticSo van-Nishtelroy/Bambi-on-ice did indeed end up at Hibs. Sometimes the predictability of Scottish football is only matched by the ennui. Good luck to him I guess, however our inability to bolster our frontline in the wake of his departure to Leith has done nothing to address the catastrophe that our season has become. There can’t be a Killie fan anywhere who doesn’t simply want this campaign to end. Preferably with us still in the SPHell. There was a time when I’d have quite happily settled for a season or two in the second tier, but our precarious financial position makes that proposition far too terrifying and, indeed, could just about kill us off. At the time of writing we have secured a couple of wins against Aberdeen and St. Mirren that have just about calmed the nerves. The fact that they sandwiched an almost unfathomable 4-2 reverse to Gretna is best forgotten. We’re not out of the woods yet, there’s maybe just a few less trees than there was 3 games ago.
